What a fun time we had designing Isabella’s Playroom and her little sister Daisy’s Quiet Room. Their mum contacted us because she was overwhelmed and she did not want to use IKEA furniture. With limited playroom storage on the market that she liked, she knew that having something custom built would be the best solution.

 

The brief for the Playroom was: Lots of storage and somewhere for Isabella to draw and play. We offered lots of possible layout options to think over and once our client worked out which one they liked best, we developed the colour schemes and proposed a number of ways to incorporate everything needed to make their girls dream play room. A local artist was engaged to paint a large mural on the wall and custom designed joinery was installed to give the girls lots of space for drawing while not compromising on the space available to play.
